About Dr, Giurelli
Dr. Giurelli received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in 1999. She received her Masters degree in Psychology and Management from Southern Connecticut State University in 1993. Her internship was at The Massachusetts Multicultural Psychology Internship Program. Dr. Giurelli is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Dr. Giurelli is a member of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) and the International OCD foundation (IOCDF). She is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA). Dr. Giurelli is a credentialed National Register Health Service Psychologist. In addition to being a licensed Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Giurelli is also a trained coach. She received her coach training in 2000 from the MentorCoach Program, a coach training program for psychologists. Dr. Giurelli has also spent many years in the business world working in large companies. She has a unique perspective which allows her to understand the stressors and problems that can be a part of the working world for so many people.
Dr. Giurelli believes in strength-based, positive psychology approaches. She will work with you to identify your strengths, and help you use them to solve your problems.
